Did anyone see it last night? Just after 10:00pm, very bright, like Venus, but moving West to East. I was impressed. I never saw it before. I waved but I don't know if they saw me...

Yes, we see it regularly. They never drop in for tea, though.

There are also Iridium flares to be seen. These appear like a bright star for about a couple of seconds - imagine a bright star being turned on and off using a dimmer switch - that's an iridium flare.
