Has anyone managed to get inside for a look around yet?

Went there to shop around 4.30pm today - the place was heaving! So I decided to give it a miss...

Will try again sometime when the excitement has died down.

Managed to look around yesterday, lovely shop & I'm sure their produce is going to be delicious, but those who thought the prices would compare to Tesco & who thought Somerfield was expensive are going to be very disappointed, still time will tell.

went in there yesterday, the staff are happier now than under somerfield, the fresh produce is better the range of goods sold is better (if you don't want cheap imports) as for price it is more expensive but the quality is better.

I guess it is down to the individual whether they quality over quantity

I'm about to venture once more into this emporium of discerning tastes...

I'll report back.

I went in there yesterday and the difference in prices on some items is astounding for example the braces bread is £1.29 and Concorde Discounts are selling at £0.99 and Greggs at £1.12. How can Waitrose justify charging 30% more.
Waitrose are part of the John Lewis Group who pride themselves in "Never knowingly undersold" but I don't think this applies to Waitrose.
