This forum could develop into an interesting and helpful facility for all local residents but it will only happen if everyone starts to contribute posts. It's very easy!

In an effort to encourage those who are reading this but saying nowt I thought I'd start this Topic.

I'm female, married, and have lived and worked in Caldicot for about 20 years. Children have grown up (but not yet flown the nest... well, one did, but then flew back in again http://www.graphic-forums.com/images/smilies/doh.gif ). I finished my job at a local school recently but husband still works locally. Interests are mainly out-doorsy things.

Hi, what happened to the weather?? I know we should be used to it but every summer I think perhaps this year will be a good one and almost every year you blink and miss it...

(I can't comment about Torchwood. Don't watch it, sorry.)

Summer was officially 31st May - 14th June this year. (Sorry you missed it)

If we get really lucky this might be the start of an Indian Summer, but this morning 7a.m. was more like Autumn.

Fingers crossed for good weather on Sunday - I'm booked to go on a trip to Flat Holm island.
